Investigations performance

Freedom of Information Annual Report 2010/11

While we are investigating more cases, the average age of cases in our caseload is reducing, in line with our duty to promote economy, efficiency and effectiveness.  Only 17% of cases under investigation were over six months old at the end of 2010/11, compared to 36% the preceding financial year.  The average age of cases closed during 2010/11 was up slightly, and we will continue to focus efforts on reducing this.Table showing cases closed within 4 months from 2008/9 to 2010/11
