Assessing your authority's practice

Complete the self evaluation form, and measure how you are doing against the Commissioner's assessment checklist.

• Does this exercise identify areas of good practice?
• Are there areas where you can see that there is room for improvement?

Compare your practice with that of other authorities.  The Commissioner publishes all his assessment reports and action plans for you to download at Practice assessment - reporting and action.  How do you compare?
