Responding to requests...
In common with other Scottish public authorities, the Commissioner is bound by the FOI legislation to respond to the requests for information he receives. As well as an increase in applications and enquiries, 2009 also saw an increase in the number of FOI requests received by the Commissioner. Requests covered a wide range of issues, with many requests seeking information held by the Commissioner in relation to applications for decision.
