Filing cabinet with papers flying outDecisions Round-up: 11 to 15 February 2013

There was one decision published this week.

Key message:

  • Review your procedures from time to time!
Are your internal FOI procedures robust enough to cope with changes in circumstance? Periodically reviewing your procedures can help you to identify and address any gaps before problems arise. In Decision 012/2013, staff secondment issues contributed to a Council's failure to carry out a review within the 20 working day timescale.

Summary of decision:

  • Decision 012/2013 ? Dr Alan Melville and Stirling Council
A technical decision concerning the Council's failure to respond to Dr Melville's request for review within 20-working days. The Council responded to Dr Melville during the course of our investigation.
