One of the main tasks facing the Commissioner is to raise awareness of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act. As a result, the Commissioner and his staff organise events from time to time, as well as attend a variety of events and visit many organisations throughout the country. If you want to read recent speeches given by the Commissioner, visit the Speeches and Articles page on this website.
