Compass PointsThe Commissioner wants to ensure that organisations and individuals across Scotland, and beyond, understand their rights and obligations under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Experience has shown that different groups of organisations or individuals face different issues, and ask different questions about: how the Act affects them; how they should respond to their obligations; or how they can make use of their rights under the Act.

Whether you are a public authority, a journalist, a voluntary organisation, or an elected member, this new section of the Commissioner's website is designed to respond to your specific interests.

These pages are under construction and will be developed over time, in response to feedback from research and site users.
